What is StudyCo SHS Ready?
StudyCo SHS Ready is a free review program that prepares underprivileged Grade 10 Students in Cagayan de Oro City interested in Science Senior High School System and passing the Senior High School entrance examination.
It started in 2020 as a Math and English tutor program, catering to at least 60 Grade 10 students from Cagayan de Oro City and nearby municipalities.
StudyCo aims to bridge the gap brought by distance learning during the pandemic, particularly access to teachers and limited to no interaction with other students, which indirectly affected students’ mental health.

Brief History
StudyCo started in 2020 providing FREE online math tutorials to Grade 10 students under Covid 19. Eventually, in 2021, StudyCo provided not just Math but also Science and English. After 2 years of the pandemic, StudyCo launched its new program
to help prepare underprivileged Grade 10 students who are interested in Science Senior High School System and passing the Senior High School entrance examination focusing on Math Online Review Tutorials.

I believe that StudyCo would better prepare me for the examinations I will be taking.
I bought a reviewer and have established study time. I wake up as early as 4AM for a fresh mind and more conducive environment for studying. I take breaks in between, play video games, and help with some house chores. This has been my daily routine for nearly 3 months.
Yes, it did! Not only did my tutors help me better understand mathematics concepts, they also served as my inspiration. I remember my first tutor, Ate Mickey who is from UP Diliman, encouraging me to really do my best and hopes one day I’d be in UP.
Days before the Gusa and USTP exams, Ate Kristine from USTP, taught me how to do mental mathematics, which later proved to be very beneficial because we were not allowed to use extra sheet of paper for solving. Had she not given me tips, the USTP exam, which I believe is more difficult than Gusa, would have been a disaster, particularly in Math.
StudyCo SHS Ready provided me with free tutorial sessions where I learned a lot from. My tutors were very helpful in preparing me for the exams. My co-tutees, who later became friends through online Kumustahan sessions, helped me cope with the pandemic, which has already been taking a toll on my mental health.
I passed both Gusa and USTP. Thanks to StudyCo for helping me achieve this milestone.
